Bodies dissolving and becoming transparent, leaking data, sweat and tears. Information spilling from every pore, synthetic goop flooding the zone. The installation asks what it means to be porous, complicit and penetrated by capitalist disgust. To become a distorted surface and noise on which control can operate.
Entering the room, visitors find themselves on a screen at its center. A camera captures their face in real time. Using face recognition built in TouchDesigner, noise and pixels spill from their eyes and mouth till the whole face is distorted. Two further screens show 3D animations, extending the visual language of dissolving, flooding, losing form.
